Introduction
Haircut (“Haircut,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is operated by Agentic Studios LLC (“Agentic Studios”). This Privacy Policy describes what personal information we collect, how we use it, and when we may disclose it when you use our websites, applications, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use Haircut, we may collect:
- Account and profile data: name, email address, phone number, password or authentication credentials, business or shop details, and preferences you provide when registering or using the Services.
- Booking and operational data: appointments, schedules, services, staff assignments, client records, notes, and messages you or your team enter into the platform.
- Client contact data: information salons store about their clients (for example, name, phone, email, birthday, visit history) when provided by the business or the client through booking flows.
- Payment-related data: payment processing is handled by Stripe and subject to Stripe’s policies. We may receive limited transaction metadata (such as payment status, identifiers, and amounts) as needed to operate payouts and billing.
- Communications: messages you send us (for example, support requests), and SMS or email delivery metadata when Haircut sends automated messages through integrated providers.
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, approximate location derived from IP, pages viewed, and diagnostic or performance data collected through cookies and similar technologies.
How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Services, including scheduling, Commander tools, and client features.
- Authenticate users, secure accounts, and prevent fraud or abuse.
- Process subscriptions and payments and facilitate payouts through Stripe Connect, where applicable.
- Send transactional messages (such as appointment reminders or account notices) and, where permitted, product updates; you may opt out of non-essential communications as described below.
- Analyze usage in aggregate to improve performance and develop new features.
- Comply with law, enforce our terms, and protect rights, safety, and security.
SMS and text messages
Haircut is the sender of all text messages in our program. Clients create a direct relationship with Haircut by booking appointments on Haircut’s own website (www.gethaircut.app) and mobile apps, and opt in to messaging directly with Haircut. We send SMS through a messaging provider (Twilio) acting only as our technology vendor. A message may name the specific shop a client booked, but the shop is identified for context only and is not the sender. Booking and purchases do not require SMS consent; you may provide a phone number for scheduling without receiving promotional SMS unless you separately opt in. Message frequency varies based on appointments and your choices. Message and data rates may apply. Recipients can opt out at any time by replying STOP; reply HELP for assistance or contact hello@vibedevelopment.ai.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
We do not give shops or any other third parties your mobile number, opt-in data, or SMS consent data, and shops cannot text you directly through Haircut. We do not sell, rent, or share this information with anyone for their own marketing.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share personal information with third parties for those parties' own marketing, advertising, or promotional purposes. Phone numbers and other contact information collected for messaging or account-related SMS are used only to deliver the Services described in this policy (for example, transactional notices and program messages that Haircut sends through a messaging provider such as Twilio). That information is not sold or licensed for unrelated marketing campaigns or broker lists.
We may share information only in the limited circumstances below:
- Service providers: with vendors who assist us (for example, hosting, analytics, email delivery, SMS delivery, error monitoring), subject to confidentiality and processing terms that restrict use of personal information to providing services to us—not for the vendor's independent marketing.
- Payment processors: with Stripe (and financial partners as needed) to process payments and payouts; see Stripe’s privacy policy for how they handle card and bank data.
- At your direction: with integrations or features you enable, or when a shop shares data with its staff or clients through the Services.
- Legal and safety: when required by law, legal process, or to protect our users, the public, or our rights.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice where required.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar tools to operate the Services, remember preferences, and understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may limit functionality.
Data retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods may depend on your role (for example, shop owner vs. client) and whether an account remains active.
Security
We implement technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA.
Delete your account in the app: Open Settings in the Haircut mobile app, choose Delete account, and confirm. This permanently deletes your account and associated profile data. Shop owners who delete their account will also close their shop on the platform.

Children
The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected such information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
International users
If you access the Services from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where we or our providers operate, which may have different data protection rules than your country.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes may be communicated through the Services or by email where appropriate.
